Post by David Taylor » 01 Sep 2018 08:58

Broadcast have been heard on 106.5mhz with Radio Seabreeze AM live from The Jenni Baynton celebrating 41 years since the Dutch Marine Offences Bill became law. Has anyone heard this on 1395khz ?

Hi Dave,

Dutch LPAM Seabreeze is a daily daytime signal on the Grimsby SDR's east-west loop (not the default loop).

While the ship is offshore for this commemoration Seabreeze is transmitting live from there on 747, whereas 1395 from Grou is currently a relay with a few seconds delay on it. At some point the J B will return to Harlingen harbour, its normal home. Seabreeze will then (we assume) return to its Grou studio and 1395 only. And 747 will (we also assume) revert to the usual licence holders for the frequency.

Sorry but I don't have any info on the FM relay.

[Edit: corrected my spelling]

Hi David,
When you get time can you do a Crewe bandscan?

I'm thinking that eventually I will move there, soon i will have nothing keeping me here, there is nothing to do here and nowhere to go.

I suffer a bit from being in the shadow of the peak District here and Crewe might be better for the south East and east.

Anything awful killing the DX there I should know about?
(Medium wave is already lost here anyway)

I keep forgetting to take an Rx when I visit.
Any interesting low power FM pirates or rebroadcasts in East European languages?
