MAR 87.5 came on air Saturday night and also on this morning with a difference a nice clean audio no distortion and matches their webstream and it's coming form my S/E.
I do think that Radio Caroline North that was on 87.5 is MAR or at least the same TX but that didn't match MARs Webstream or Radio Carolines webstream.

Love NRG is on air also on 100.7 from Manchester.

On Friday night whilst driving on the M1 near Wakefield, I heard Radio Caroline Flashback being relayed on 87.8 MHz. I drove through Wakefield and the signal was covering the town pretty well. However lost when rejoining the M1.

I know there have been several FM relays of Caroline around the country, but this is the first I gave heard in a Yorkshire.

Welcome to the forum, Scotty! I live in Norfolk and there have been a few relays of Radio Caroline here too. :-)

welcome Scotty,
fwiw I've not heard our nearest Caroline relay (Meir, S.O.T) on 97.5 since Radio Nova started on the channel,
wonder if they've given up,moved freq or decided that since they only want to serve a small area they may aswell stay on 97.5?

Well I was going to post not one pirate on here this weekend then Radio Atlantis 87.7 is on in Dutch and heard the ID but doesn't match Radio Atlantis stream so maybe recorded so maybe the same people that was relaying Radio Veronica NL on 87.5 in January.

Love NRG Radio 100.7 was on dead air this morning then went off air.

all I heard this sunday was
Merseyland Alternative Radio 87.5043
and the Russian(?) pirate relaying Armin Van Buren podcasts on 256.95

I did spend some time on 87.7 looking for scatter, no sign of atlantis, just 2 RSLs and a Itrip

keep forgetting to check 100.7

Wetley Rocks Pirate Bandscan, Staffordshire
87.7 ABGT- better signal than MAR, held on to this all the way to Wetley Rocks- must be some serious power!
95.1 Kriss FM- better audio than when last hrd
97.5 Sting FM (totally dominating channel- no way to tell if Caroline still on air)
99.7 Distinct FM

Hyundai Car rx + Tecsun PL-380wt with half the aerial snapped off!

we got lost but accidentally discovered quite a few good dxing sites in the Moorlands so its all good

Thanks for the info Tim I thought they were playing a loop and is a strong signal on all aerials except the homebrew that is very weak seems to be peaking to my S/E.
Veronica VHF was on 101.4 again while MAR is on 87.5.

I was listening to a track on MAR then they went off air in the middle of it that revealed UCB on 87.6 and a few mins ago another pirate on 87.5 Radio North Sea International matched the RNI London stream weaker than MAR or Veronica.

Here on the east coast, Caroline 87.9 was heard. I guess the location is Boston. Car radio reception is difficult in Skegness but, heading SW along the A52, becomes reasonable from Wainfleet onwards.

ABGT,87.7.
what a load of junk.
playing the worst content of any radio station i have ever heard.

although interesting reading of what they are actually all about.
just googled it, interesting stuff, thought i may have enjoyed it after reading up on it, thought could have been my kind of thing.
after listening in, afraid not..

may be up some one elses st, but not mine.

mark.
