As well as the regular MAR on 87.5 Central Radio have just signed on using 100.8 MHz for their annual Easter Monday transmission.

Just about getting it here in Bebington, though with a less-than-optimal setup.

Heard something on 108 yesterday while on the M53 between Junction 7 and 5. Was playing Ragtime-y music, no ID, don't think it was MAR. Signal was gone when I reached home so it must be low-powered.

This morning MAR has an over=modulated signal on 87.5 - sounding very distorted. Someone needs to wake Bert up.

MAR back on 87.5 for V-E Day, overmodulated a bit.

Got a station "F.R.L." on 102.2 via an SDR in West Kirby/Wallasey sort of area. Not getting it at my home in Bebington. Guessing it's "Free Radio Liverpool"? Just playing non-stop music.

edit: It is actually audible at my home with enough gain but not enough for RDS.

edit 2: It is indeed Free Radio Wirral re-named to Free Radio Liverpool. FM matches the web stream of FRW.

Ah - I heard 102.2 Saturday morning with good signal, free radio jingles and non stop music. Gone when checked in the afternoon.

Do MAR broadcast on AM anymore? I was listening earlier on 105 and they mentioned they're on FM, AM and online.
