Birmingham mux 11C

Post by Andrew Webster,Wigan » 12 Sep 2016 20:12

Today I have the Birminham mux 11 C coming in well signal is 8-10 db in the past it only came on tropo usually around 5-6 db so I think the power has been increased as per Ofcoms DAB coverage plan.

So it looks like Lichfield has increased from 1 kw to 2.5 kw today as it wasn't here yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon and evening Birmingham mux 11 C was touching 21 db so a quick check on FM revealed that Sutton Coldfield was well up so a lift The Wrekin 11 B was also up 23 db.
I did a scan to the South and the Derbyshire mux 10 C was also up to 16 db this much higher than it normally is on tropo.

This morning conditions are flat so Birmingham 11 C back to 10 db The Wrekin 11 B 17 db and Derbyshire mux 10 C is still here but does drop out at times but is being picked up on a scan but not high enough to listen to it so this is not the way it was so I am wondering if either Lichfield or Stanton Moor has been lifted as well.
