The six pips would have been China. No doubt on the Radio Free Asia ID though.

Hopefully things stay quiet for this evening. Possible blow-out forecast late in the day.

Hello John. What was your actual readout on RFA? Yes the 6 pips may have been China which was dominant two or three minutes before the TOH. Is it a fact RFA does not have a TS?

Hello Barry.

There were four carriers visible on 1098 at 2000 on 23-10-17:

1097.9834
1097.9927
1097.9979
1098.0002

I cannot say which carrier belongs to which station, but Spain is in there and isn't one of the SRo5 transmitters still operational on 1098? Or maybe Iran owns the lower carrier.

From memory, I think the two centre-most carriers belong to CHN and TWN, but I don't know which is which.
