this is a really nice log!
must be amazing to receive almost all different px from one country at one glance :)

93.5 is definitely Kopavogur, as you heard 87.7 from there as well.

I looked into FMLISt and your opening angle was exactly between 326 and 328 degrees!!

(distances for Belfast as I did not know your exact QTH)

this was your second tx on 93.5 (one frequency transmitting site)

I will listen closely to the recording of 95.3, all three tx sites may have been audible. When the top station faded there was a lot of echo between stations.

Iceland is without doubt one of my favourite places to hear. During a good opening even the lowest power relays come through.

A big ambition is to hear Greenland. It's east coast is easily within 1 skip from here, but alas the transmitters are very low powered.

I'm 105 km south west from Belfast in a village called Lisnaskea (Lios Na Sceithe in Irish/Gaelige: Fort of the shield)

From here all those signals were between 329 and 331 degrees. Very tight!

I would love to receive Greenland. Have checked your location, the best (easiest) way at yours might be

Qulusuk Isle S/W Greenland with 500 watts on 2050 kilometres on 98.7 FM with KNR Radio.
It is only water in between. This is single hop distance and should also be possible with tropo / ES combination.
Frequency should be free between your locals 98.5 and 99 FM. I think this is achievable when condx. are good.

91.0 could be tough next to a strong tx. but has 100 watts.
88.5 is free but running on low power.

You better add 98.7 FM to your presets. This is almost the most powerful tx. in whole Greenland
The other is one 600 watts station in Nuuk on 90.5 FM at 2681km next to Trustmore "big gun" - wouldn`t wait for this.

In the past I have checked for all the main transmitters during good conditions to Iceland but never anything received. 98.7 does look like a good bet but with a some interference from RTE Kippure off the back of the antenna.

The problem is knowing when there is propagation. An opening toward Qulusuk could even materialise without anything from Iceland or anything else from Greenland including beacons on 6m.

There are sometimes late night openings to Iceland from here - happening around 0200, which almost always also bring some reception of north America (at 10m or 6m - but once with FM) - during one of these openings I think is the best chance - although very late nights arent something I relish anymore.

During one late night opening to Iceland signals were so strong and stable that they were like Tropo. Right to the top of the band. The RUV TV signals on E3 and E4 had the testcard showing and were like local signals!

I will store 98.7 in my memory banks :-)

Looks like we received totally different parts of iceland with barely any overlap except for the 2 seconds of rondo I got when ras 2 briefly faded

I looked for our drunk friend on 88.5 but didn’t hear it, then I looked on fmlist and couldn’t find so I have no idea what’s going on, I heard something weak on 87.9 but morocco was coming in off the back of the aerial so it could have been that

Some thoughts on Greenland.
Our main problem is that the Eastern side of greenland is uninhabited.

Best hope for Greenland during an iceland opening from Central England is a second hop to Sanderson Hope 91.0 100watts but from a mountain top.

In the event of a separate opening to the southern tip of Greenland i suggest these 2 would be easiest to identify at extremely low signal strength
88.0 Relay of icelands 2nd program, getting a // should be no problem

96.25 should stick out like a sore thumb
