10.2.15 - Tropo
Sony ST-SB920 + VHF/UHF TV antenna with One For All 10dB signal booster

90.4 BEL - VRT Klara - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 24dB (from what I remember), mono. No RDS. Manningtree 90.3 nulled.
95.7 BEL - VRT Radio 1 - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 33dB (from what I remember), stereo. RDS-PI received (6301), and broken radio text. Over BBC Cambridgeshire (Peterborough, 95.7) and BBC Norfolk (West Runton, 95.6), both semi-local signals that can be grabbed normally.
98.6 BEL - VRT Radio 2 (Oost-Vlaanderen) - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 37dB peak, full RDS. 6302 (PI), RADIO_2_ (PS), full unbroken RT, and broken CT, but CT not looked at during peak. Best signal from this station. Hardly any static (very little) in stereo.
100.1 BEL - VRT Radio 2 (West-Vlaanderen) - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 42dB peak, PI 6302, broken RT. Stereo. Over Sutton Coldfield, and also over QRM given off by second-adjacent channel Radio Norwich 99.9, from Stoke Holy Cross, which is capable of interfering with both BBC R1 (Peterborough, 99.7) and this station, on some radios, in the Norwich area.
102.1 BEL - VRT Studio Brussel - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 26dB (?), stereo. PI 6304 and broken RT. Over Town 102/Lincs FM.
103.0 BEL - Q-music - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 26dB (?), very hissy stereo. No RDS at all. Over decent-strength (approx 22dB normally) semi-local, Heart Cambridgeshire, from Cambridge/Madingley, on same frequency, with a lot of station overlap. Very amazing Q-music got over Heart at all. At peak, Q-music stronger than Heart, with background hiss being the only clue of Heart's presence.
104.1 BEL - Joe FM - Egem (vlg-vwl) - 23dB (?), stereo. No RDS. One I often forget about, and Joe is normally weaker than the VRT signals, despite having the same power. More often, 104.1 is occupied by BBC Radio Sheffield, and Joe is more of a thing on the coasts of Norfolk and Suffolk.
94.7 F - France Bleu Nord - Lille/Bouvigny le Mont [62] (59) - 22dB, mono, no RDS, steady. Vocal ID heard. Stronger than others from same site.
105.8 G - Absolute Radio - London/Crystal Palace (EN-GTL) - Stereo, no RDS, 23dB.

Sony XDR-S10HDiP + VHF/UHF TV antenna with One For All 10dB signal booster

104.7 F - France Inter - Calais/Mont d'Hubert (62) - 1 bar, stereo, no RDS. Crammed in right next to 3 bars (47dB according to SB920) BBC Radio Suffolk, from Bury St Edmunds/Great Barton, on 104.6, with a little bit of Suffolk splatter, but Inter could still be heard nicely.
105.6 F - France Info - Calais/Mont d'Hubert (62) - 0 bars, weak mono, no RDS. Over Kiss from Cambridge. Awareness of Info's presence thanks to Inter, but Info's signal very messy, thanks to Kiss.
102.7 HOL - Radio 538 - Rotterdam/Alticom Toren (Waalhaven) (zho) - 1 bar, weak, no RDS. Dominant 102.7 signal today, present many times over Heart Peterborough, the signal that is dominant on 102.7 under flat conditions, although wiped out by 538 in the slightest continental tropo.
98.1 G - BBC Radio 1 - Pontop Pike (EN-DUR) - Stereo, no RDS (that I'm aware of), 2 bars. Closest signal to Scotland that I've got so far, with a hope to receive Scottish and/or Irish radio in June or July.
95.4 G - BBC Radio Newcastle - Pontop Pike (EN-DUR) - Very weak. Same simulcast as other BBC locals. 0 bars.
106.7 D - WDR Eins Live - Langenberg/Hordtberg (nrw) - Very weak, 0 bars. Just coming through, playing Milky Chance 'Stolen Dance'.

Very good log Alex considering the aerials you are using when you do get a Korner 9.2 you will have some serious DX there.

Excellent stuff Alex.

Have you considered using FM List to record all your loggings? This will become a permanent record of all your DX catches. You can check to see if you have received something before. You can export for the logbooks here or on any other forum. Makes everything so simple.

I have been using FM List for a few years but not from its beginning. It is an excellent aid to DXing too, offering so much more than just a logbook.

I didn't use Fmlist from the start either until John showed me how it worked and never looked back an excellent tool for recording logs.

Are you not interested in keeping a permanent record of your DX? It's something I wish I had done many years ago. A lot of my older loggings have been lost due to computer failure (and my lack of regular backups) so FM List keeps a permanent record for me.

It's also useful as it helps build up a picture of what's happening by way of the Worldwide Visual Logbook, our very own band 2 DX Cluster! Realtime loggings appear instantly so other DXers can see what's happening.

One of the biggest benefits by far for me is the ability to see the available DX paths, both your own and those of other DXers, especially useful during sporadic E events since this helps to narrow down the direction of reception. I cannot recommend this enough.

It's simple, just visit http://www.fmlist.org/ and create an account.

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it very quickly. Any questions just ask.

I think we all use FM List. As far as I am aware it's the most up-to-date list of its kind and is constantly updated by a team editors who are also DXers themselves.

You can also check a box with your loggings to inform editors of any changes you might discover with PI codes or anything else. So we all contribute and maintain its accuracy. There's no spam or any unwanted mail, etc. at all. best of all it's free, but we all benefit. I am sounding like an advert for it, but it's so useful and I'd hate to be without it.

I wonder if we ought to have a dedicated thread for FM List questions in case any newcomers might need a little help getting things set up. It's not overly complicated, but there's so much to it perhaps a thread might be useful.

I agree about a dedicated thread on FMlist and also include some tutorials.
When I joined FMlist John very kindly showed me how it worked that was back in 2012 before that I was typing logs well trying to but now a few clicks of the mouse and the logs done.
