103.0 BEL - Q-music - Egem (vlg-vwl) 225.586 km - Almost unlistenable - versus a ruined Heart Madingley. No RDS (obviously).
100.7 HOL - Q-music - IJsselstein/Gerbrandytoren-Alticom (utr) 283.957 km - Very weak, only mono possible. No RDS.
100.1 BEL - VRT Radio 2 (West-Vlaanderen) - Egem (vlg-vwl) 225.586 km - No RDS. Either that or Classic FM Sutton Coldfield - varied by opening. Also QRM from Radio Norwich 99.9 in Stoke Holy Cross.

98.1 G - BBC Radio 1 - Pontop Pike (EN-DUR) 324.277 km - No RDS. Stereo reception goes on and off. Deep fading, as normal, but stronger. As 98.3 Belmont and 99.3 Tacolneston.
92.9 G - BBC Radio 4 - Pontop Pike (EN-DUR) 324.277 km - No RDS. Very weak - mono only available. Very odd since BBC R1 is stronger. As 93.1 Belmont and 94.1 Tacolneston.
98.9 G - BBC Radio 1 - Holme Moss (EN-WYK) 178.852 km - No RDS. Versus 98.8 same station from Wrotham - one or the other.

Many more available in this tropo - some of which I have forgotten about.

Approx 20:40 (Greenwich Mean Time) with same equipment: Same stations, with a lack of some, but, in addition:

102.7 HOL - Radio 538 - Rotterdam/Alticom Toren (Waalhaven) (zho) 247.261 km - Very weak, only mono possible, with Dutch-speaking OM. Over Heart Peterborough/Gunthorpe (weak semi-local).
102.6 BEL - RTBF Musiq'3 - Tournai/Froidmont (wal-hnt) 265.462 km - Very weak, only mono possible, almost unlistenable due to Heart Stoke Holy Cross, on second-adjacent channel 102.4 MHz. Classical music playing. First time on this tuner.

This really was the first time I have ever heard RTBF Musiq'3, from Tournai/Froidmont, on my Sony ST-SB920. I have heard it a few times on the car radio, in Thorpe St. Andrew, Lowestoft, and Ketteringham (on the A11). This has been fantastic, thanks to the narrow filters. I will probably get it even more when I get my Sony XDR-S10HDiP radio, which was the cheapest XDR on eBay, at a bargain of about £66! I will probably get Tjerkgaast (Radio 538 on 102.5), without any difficulties, thanks to the digital signal processing of that unit.

fwiw: you should hear a 3khz het on 92.9 during audio gaps, Pontop Pike has drifted down to 92.897 while Rowridge remains on 92.900

same with BBC R1 Crystal Palace 98.496 versus Northampton/cambridge/Llangollen on 98.500
