Possible Peruvian on 1360?

Post by John Faulkner, Skegness » 01 Sep 2018 12:23

1360 is such a difficult frequency for me, so it would be very nice to nail this.

There are two recordings with slightly different filtering. Hopefully this helps.

In the first recording, I am not sure if I am hearing a Radio Bienestar ID at 54 seconds and 2 min 16 seconds. This recording is repeated, first in LSB, then in USB.

The offset is approximately. 1360.0078.

Now I have tweaked the recording a little and added noise reduction, I can hear a few Radio Bienestar IDs. I feel sure this is Radio Bienestar from Lima, but I would love to have a confirmation or two. Thanks if you can give this a quick listen.

Recorded across 0500 on August 1st.

I didn't hear it in the your first recordings, but it certainly sounds like it now. Hopefully you will get some confirmation on RealDX.
This is a total no-no for me with the local Smooth on 1359 less than a mile away.

Thanks Simon.

The offset is correct for Radio Bienestar too. 1360.007. (.0078 on my recording.) But when I have checked their web stream at the top of the hour, all I hear are adverts for health products. No IDs.

Mauricio Molano delivered the goods. As you will see from RealDX, he even quoted from one of the adverts mentioning "Poder de la Medicina Natural". Maybe a health format station.

Result! :) and a new one for me. Distance is 10,255 km!
