Gerard,

Whilst this MAY have been CHTO, I would suspect that it was one of the Greek pirates that pop up around here. They feature music and long rambling talking or even mumbling in Greek and their carriers drift all over the place.

I find them difficult to ID , but this one from this morning at 05:30 seems to have an ID as Radio Yorgis.

I've seen reference on the Web to Radio Yorgis Atlantis, so whether this is the same station, I don't know.

I agree with you Simon, it looks like a pirate station, i can hear something that sounds like Radio Batacan or something. You have a clear ID from Yorgis, both seems to be pirate stations.

This morning (14th) there is a good ID (CHTO) in English at 06:00:22 then into a Greek programme.
