I'm probably not the person to help on this as my location can be extremely variable for transatlantic conditions. Conditions are subdued here. I can hear regular east coasters, but not with any great strength. I have rock music on 1540 too close to KCKK's offset. I am sure this must be Radio Bahama...
Sounds Spanish to me. At 20 seconds, I hear the woman say Radio Sutatenza. She seems to repeat it twice. There's no Sutatenza listed in MW List. Then at 49 seconds I hear a possible rushed Radio Ciudad De Mar, but that one's not at all clear. With conditions the way they are I would be inclined to e...
That's a shame. TWR can be a pest here, but I find Forth 2 the main problem. There are two other stations too, neither of which will allow me to receive 4QD in the clear.
Laszlo, can you ever receive 4QD on 1548? There's always a carrier here. It's often up to audio levels, but there's not chance of hearing it because of FOUR co-channel Europeans.

Welcome to Skywaves AMDXHUN! I sometimes hear Japanese time signals on 747 and 774, but signals are always too weak for audio. I will keep an ear on these frequencies. PFM - Definitely Chinese time signals. I only hear four pips. (Three low and the last one an octave higher.) Some Chinese signals ar...
KCKK has been a regular here lately. Nothing much heard here this morning. I can't make our anything on your clip David. I wondered about Mexico, but nothing to go on there.
That's right Nick. Some FDM-S2 owners find the band 2 section a little deaf, hence using a masthead amplifier. The XDR is simply superb as an off-the-shelf DX machine, thanks to its selectivity. But I wouldn't have thought you could improve on the brick wall selectivity of an SDR. The audio quality ...

That is such a shame. The situation is very similar here, but careful positioning of the flag really helps, as you will know. I can get my noise down to -125 dB to -135 dB if I am lucky. If the noise is as high as -120 dB then it's not worth DXing. I can just hear noise at -130 dB. These figures are...
