Are you saying that 10m/11m are usually active at this time of year David?

Analogue TV in Bangkok

There are still a couple of stations broadcasting in good old analogue in Bangkok (UHF).
(There is also analogue cable TV which might mess up Es for me, as it includes Band l).

Re: Lime Mini FM test

Hi Peter, Regarding filters in the Airspys - they state that they have "tracking RF filters" - which I take to mean a tuneable bandpass filter which tracks the centre frequency. In comparison the SDRPlay RSP (not the RSP1A) has basic wideband filters, e.g. 60-120 MHz, that don't have a lot of atten...

can you test shazam on thai fm stations, see if its database includes their pop?
Hello Tim, I am not a Shazam user, but they play standard British/ American pop on FM88 so it'll probably be on Shazam.

Re: Lime Mini FM test

Thanks for finding and posting the video Peter. A couple of things I glean from the video - apart from the obvious that it is running on SDR-console v3. 1) It's playing back a recorded file and it looks like the max individual file length you can get on SDR-console v3 is about 25 seconds (look at t...

Not wishing to be too inquisitive :) Would love to know what you do though. But I won't ask that one. ;) You should be able to receive Australian MW DX from there, maybe? Need to know basis. ;) MW from Aus is one of my goals here, the problem is MW is full of strong stations from Thailand. The only...

It wasn't a guessing game. I flew to Bangkok but wasn't sure if I was remaining here, there was a chance I'd move on. I am remaining in Bangkok.
Many people on here don't mention a location or even their name. :)
