Re: Want to make my own TV station for an experiment

Re: Russia DSO status thread

Lots of low level pings from Novosokolniki this morning but nothing seen from 5 Kanal St Petersburg

St Petersburg was formerly the stronger of the two. Is this the end?

Re: Llangollen 91.1 changing from Radio 3 to Radio Wales

Well a year on and once you get used to it this change has been very beneficial from a dx point of view. I have Radio Wales on the following frequencies at all times 91.1 91.3 x2 91.6 91.8 92.0 94.8 95.3 95.4 Obviously it’s much easier to identify txs in this band now half of them are relaying a dif...

Re: FM Txs with offsets or distinctive signatures

Aranmore Island off Donegal is co channel with MT Leinster but slightly offset on 94.0 I was so surprised to see a second Radio Na G on daily scatter I didn’t note whether it was lower or higher than MT Leinster but there’s only 2 Radio Na G. Txs on the channel so there’s no mistaking it Also on 94....

Re: FM Txs with offsets or distinctive signatures

With the new aerial 94.9 is now open for dxing. Heres a picture of Forfar and Bressay while Bressay was on a scatter peak. Bressay is the higher of the 2 carriers Sometimes Derry appears below Forfar EC9542E9-66DA-4E42-9C92-B1B14955CEBF.jpeg According to the very useful tools on fmlist the path from...

Re: Draconids shower peaking 8-9 October

Looks like its too minor a shower for our purposes.
I’ve not seen anything that can’t be explained by normal random scatter

Not to worry, more reliable showers are on the way.
See the meteor thread in the propagation forum for details

Re: FM Txs with offsets or distinctive signatures

It was down on 106.698 the last few seasons.
Its a shame they fixed it, it was useful for identification at low levels.
