Elad FDM-S2 actual freq range

I'm posting this as its the sort of thing i'd have liked to know The VHF portion will work down to 71.67mhz with no loss of gain and up to at least 179.325 but with a drop off in sensitivity lack of local signals in the 180-184 range means i can't be more precise but by 185mhz you're seeing spurious...

Re: 262.150 MHz - TV audio carrier?

You did well getting that on a whip aerial Sounds like cable tv leakage from Brazil Satellite is receiving on 303.25 so video carrier would be 298.75 I’ve had presumed cable leakage from china - assuming they don’t have broadcast txs in the 290 mhz range I’ve had vision buzz too which I tentatively ...

Re: 1670 UK Pirate - Different Radio

I wonder if he’s using a talking house transmitter into an amplifier or just to a decent aerial My talking house tx not only came preset to 1670 but was 42hz high too! Audio even sounds a bit like a TH They’re cheap, (even with import duty) reliable, robust and built to be installed by realtors with...

Winradio excalibur sigma 64mhz recording £6200/

Review in wrth 2019
No band 2 and coverage stops at 190mhz
But maybe their previous model that records 32mhz will turn up cheaper now

Re: Consumer-ready Titus II SDR Receiver

no, i was right to be cynical apparently! "It is around, but you can't actually purchase it. It's made for charitable services only." "It does exist but only for donation at China listeners. See www.radiosfortheworld.com and click on China. Just a way to rise money. If not put on sale it's probably ...

Re: AirSpy HF+ pre-orders open!

Hi all, i don't have a signal generator test this so doesn't anyone know how much extra range you can squeeze out of the HF+ below 60mhz? it works well at least 10mhz above the stated upper limit of 260mhz so will it tune 59.25? 55.25? i need something to monitor 55.25 this summer and it would be gr...

Re: Es on 15 and 10m

Had e on 12mhz one summer night in 1992
Heard radio fax on 12255,
Wish I’d thought to check fm!

Where does e start?
I used to think it started around 35mhz and spread out from there

Re: BBC R3's here and now, succumbed to self parody?

now rebranded as "the new music show"
haven't heard the new format yet as my pvr stopped recording the series when the name changed

one thing i'm sure of, the rebranding/replacement of H&N is totally down to my post on this powerful forum :D
