Re: 88.5 WHCF BANGOR MAINE TA FM NOW

I have a Korner 9 element @ about 8 metres John. That feeds two rsp1a's both bought second hand. I can't remember how much I paid for the first one but the last one was £60. This allows me to record two blocks of 6.6 mhz at full sensitivity at a time. The rsp1a's beat the pants off the Elad FDM S2 i...

84% of contacts on the 50 MHz band during the period April 2020 - March 2021 as reported to the ClubLog website were FT8.

Prop maps tip.

Since a high proportion of Amateur activity on 50 mhz has moved from Phone and CW to FT8 - use the logger map which has the greatest volume of FT8 reports: That's PSKR. https://pskreporter.info/pskmap.html The most widely used FT8 software *automatically* reports to that site, not others. You can al...

You said it man!

Five minutes in all Nick. Really didn't expect it today. I had the headphones on watching the maps, end of a weather report faded up over weak RTE and I hit record.

Feeling afterward: "Did that just really happen?!"

Any thoughts on the attached audio? My only thought is that you are breaking every record, this year :D More seriously, it seems a religious song also for me, but I am not certain anyway (I've listened to it carefully twice but I didn't recognise any "key word" commonly used into religiou...
