Sounds Spanish, but it's a long way below RDS threshold.

I don't hear anything English in your clip. Only the chanting. Maybe you already ID'd that?

Sign up with a 'regular' email address. Just make one up! They do not verify your email address. Even something like "notlikely@bogoff.com" will let you have the download.

But Mega is literally MEGA! Recommended.

Sounds like a religious daytimer dropping power at 23:15 on 1470. Clear, briefly.

Re: The Conditions Thread

I think that Gospel station is hanging around 1510 late evening again. A brief peak at 2315 and a sign off at 2318 on 1510.0018.

Nothing to hear here, but one worth keeping an eye on now conditions are quietening down again. https://youtu.be/LpPeHptjWZY

Re: Maplin going bust?

Exactly right, Dave. The only things I have bought from them in recent years have been home surveillance systems and a motherboard for my desktop PC. The latter was a bit of a farce, but that was head office as opposed to the Boston store, which I visit only occasionally. Their prices can be extorti...

Re: The Conditions Thread

It certainly is. I have been catching up with my FM Es files from last summer. Plenty to get through, but MW never goes out of season ... completely. Our window of DX is just shorter. Much shorter in fact, peaking around 0200 to 0400, with some Brazilians coming in earlier than that. It's the South ...

:) Wow! At last. A good reason to buy a Skoda!

(Yes, I used to have one. It was an Estelle. It was, er, super! )

Re: Is this SpE reception been confirmed???

I Google Translated that page, and the following. Some interesting reading, but the dictionary translation is poor. You will get the gist, however. Even if it's a little jumbled. Interesting also how they refer to Eurpoean DX and even DXers. Have we set some kind of standard? 8-) ;) ================...

Re: Is this SpE reception been confirmed???

31-05-16 Maps.jpg This was the DX Maps Database Query for the relevant time period using the 6m band. There were some long-path Es, but not in the appropriate direction. So this does not back-up this reception, but also it cannot disprove it. Surely there would have been more Es in that direction o...

Wow! Who is "Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk QN16JX". What receiver and antenna was he using? He quotes his Maidenhead locator, so maybe a ham?

Sad news. I don't remember the name, but I used to listen to EMR back in the 80s. Fond memories. In fact, it might have been the late 70s. I have a QSL card from them too.

Yes. Let's hope so. The blow-out was brief (so far) so I hope it hasn't upset things too much.
