Unidentified Swedish Local Station Via Orionids

https://youtu.be/uzWfPnIIqAc

This PI appeared repeatedly on 107.0 in this session. I thought it was a rogue to begin with, but it was so consistent that I assume it must be genuine. Both PI detectors agree too. Does anybody know who this is?

Thanks.

Unidentified Radio Maryja Relay Via Meteor Scatter

I have what could be an unidentified relay of Radio Maryja on 103.1. Do Radio Katolickie Rodzina relay Radio Maryja? This was heard at 0518 on Sunday 22-10-17. If not a relay, I can say that the same prayers were heard on 103.1 and 107.2 (which had RDS: 3232 etc.) so maybe both stations were just ca...

The six pips would have been China. No doubt on the Radio Free Asia ID though.

Hopefully things stay quiet for this evening. Possible blow-out forecast late in the day.

Re: Radio Taiwan International

Surprised to hear this coming through my noise levels. Measured on 1556.998 here. (exactly .9976 according to Jaguar) Did you hear HLAZ 1566 at 1900 ?? VERY clear and above the Netherlands. You can hear a pan pipe version of Jambalaya after the time signal. Offset 1565.9993. Curiously, there was jus...

Re: Poland on Tropo 17 October 2017

So near and yet so far! I was just out of the picture on this one, but I was listening to a very weak signal from NDR Kultur from Helpterburg on 96.0 at 2006, close to the Polish border. This prompted me to look for Polish signals. I then saw the Rainham loggings on FM List and checked those frequen...

Re: German tropo 16 Oct 2017

Interesting Dave. No tropo here, but German and Dutch scatter has been very good. Nothing stable at all. Fluttery, weak, etc. but lots of it.

Edit: Actually, some of it is reaching RDS.

A late start for me but gentle tropo conditions to Holland here, plus Brittany with a few verticals getting through.

Re: No Noise Is Good Noise! (Medium Wave)

After several days of hardly any noise at all, solid, band-killing noise is now wiping out all nearby transmitters on MW. This has been affecting MW continually since late afternoon. I am baffled. I took a portable around the bungalow, around the garden, around the neighbour's property and on nearby...

Re: 1690 KDMT Arvada CO

Nice one Barry. Just checked my files from the 10th and there's nothing concrete, but I have a talker very slightly high of centre frequency. Just for the record, KDMT was last logged by myself at my Nottinghamshire QTH on 28-10-2008 when it was KDDZ, the Disney Station. I also recorded a local KDDZ...

It's quiet in here!

Yes, probably no wonder in view of the conditions. But a few stations continue to get through on MW. China was as strong as ever yesterday evening on 1377, 1098 & 1377. BEL3 was just audible on 1143 and the two regular South Koreans were still there on 972 and 1566 ... just! I hope somebody has been...

Re: Asiatic DX Tip - 594 JOAK

Thanks Mark. No joaking! I know the score. It will happen Barry. 1278 JOFR is the most regular one here this season. 1413 comes a weaker second. I have to beam straight through Pulse in West Yorkshire on 1278 too. You shouldn't have that problem. A recent clip from here: https://youtu.be/RBHqK...
