Re: TRT FM 92.0, but which site?

I think this one is fairly well nailed then. Since I can rule out TGRT FM, this is almost certainly going to be Mugla. As you say, the first two are off-beam slightly and definitely unlikely due to the power. Kersehir is also slightly off-beam and Mugla ticks all the proverbial boxes. Mugla comes in...

Re: TRT FM 92.0, but which site?

Thanks Nick. Not knowing anything about Turkish broadcasters, I cannot be certain. With Izmir being received at that time it adds a small question mark. You're probably right. The website doesn't seem to have a programme schedule.

Maybe Kurt can confirm, just to be certain.

TRT FM 92.0, but which site?

I received TRT FM on 92.0 during yesterday evening's Turkish opening. I have been trying to narrow down the site and I attach a map of the four suspects, shown with the red dots. turkey 2.jpg You can see the other sites I received at this time, so my guess would be Mugla, which is in the firing line...

Send us your naked photos!

I thought that would get some attention! This article from my favourite organisation, the always lying, covering up bbc published an article about revenge porn. Once again, we are relying on automated recognition systems. What could possibly go wrong?  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat...

As I just posted to in another thread, Vimeo are no longer blocking my videos. The total ban has been lifted!

Don't ask!

Sorry to read this Sylvestre. It stinks! It stinks because the system is automated and wrongly penalises those who are playing by the rules. Notre système automatique de protection du contenu a détecté que l'un de vos titres comprend potentiellement du contenu soumis à des droits d'auteur. At least ...

Es > Turkey

Several Turkish stations at the bottom of the band a few minutes ago. Quite a widespread area too!

It's still hovering.

Good DX!

Thanks John - looks good - 110 AH will run a rig for a while!
That's the first time I have seen their website. Good prices and free next day delivery too! Also some good car battery prices, just for the record.

Re: b2 open spain

Absolutely. No disrespect to Spain and the Spanish. I love Spain and have visited twice, but Spain is my least favourite European country to DX. It's always the same old stations. The only time I can summon the enthusiasm to DX Spain is when conditions are open to the top of the band and I can rotat...

Heavy duty 110 amp hours, made by Leisure Giant, whoever they are. I guess this is the modern version of it. https://advancedbatterysupplies.co.uk/product/advanced-sl-110-leisure- battery/ I've had it a few years now. Still works fine. Regularly re-charged. Looks like it's come down in price too. Co...

Re: b2 open spain

Good one! My plan is to try Beveraging it for African MW DX at a spot just outside town. My leisure battery is fully charged and ready to go. Just waiting for the right conditions.

Re: b2 open spain

(Having a moan now - not like me at all !!! ;) ) I keep seeing all the DX making it through down south. They really are hogging it down there. It's luck of the draw. Sometimes I see repetitive daily loops of Es up in northern Scandinavia. It's SPORADIC! There's a clue in the name, which some people ...

Yep. Agreed. I am not bothering. The Es are stuck in a rut. I have more important things to do.

I can't remember how you see individual bandscans on FM List. Could you post a link please?

Thanks.

Re: ES North Africa

That's a bummer. Sorry to read this Tim. The same thing happened to me with my presumed Ghanaian reception. I mean, any fool would know that a 100% positive identification of "This is Adventist World Radio, Ghana." would point to a relay in Melilla. :? Keep at it though. Hopefully you'll get somethi...

Re: Dutch Mega-Tropo

The inter-UK DX was a problem at times. Trax FM 107.1 was the main pest. Stations in East Anglia and the south-east wiped out a good part of the band. Tacolneston was S9+50dB. Looking at the last few days, half of the time, the continental tropo has been skipping over me and going inland. I tend to ...

Re: Dutch Mega-Tropo

Dutch tropo building again here on the east coast. Nothing particularly strong yet, but the regular transmitters are reaching S9+20dB.

I'll post a fresh alert for today if it improves.
