Strong China or Taiwan currently on 1098 MW!

Strong China or Taiwan currently on 1098! Just switched on the receiver. Looks like it could be a good Oriental evening.

Good DX!

Re: How was last night for you ?

Noise wiped out everything overnight. This may be a connection issue (yet again) on the flag, so looking at that in a few minutes. Skegness has had no internet or phone service for 24 hours after somebody apparently cut through a cable. So no DX and no internet! I felt completely lost! ;) The evenin...

Re: NA back strong but ,,,,,,

I have an OM talker much of the morning on 1490 but too weak to hear. Seems to be Spanish. 0600 is lost to noise. Only Rebelde on 1620 all morning.

Re: 918 kHz. since Slovenia left

Thanks for the tips.

I had a look for Cambodia on 819 last night, but not even a carrier. The middle of MW band is suffering constant noise now, so anything on 890-1100 will be very difficult.

Re: 2017-09-20 Conditions

Good to see your comparison - thanks for this. It made me check 1280 again. I realised that Super Radio Tupi and WCMN Noti Uno are on very similar offsets. So much so that it looked like one station, but after checking I heard TWO stations on the one apparent offset. Two nice "Super" IDs were heard ...

Re: Setting up the Perseus SDR for remote SDR / Network access.

Thank you Stuart.

IT'S WORKING! :D

I didn't see the setting for TCP/UDP in the Services. I thought it had to be TCP *or* UDP.

You saved the day!

Re: Setting up the Perseus SDR for remote SDR / Network access.

I tried this again today, starting again from scratch. I set up Outbound Services for UDP Port 8015. Inbound Services for TCP 8014. I set the ipv4 in accordance with the data in ipconfig. I disabled all A/V and firewall software. Nothing! I get the Perseus Network Message which tells me I am connect...

Re: Setting up the Perseus SDR for remote SDR / Network access.

Thanks Stuart. It didn't work. I opened the port on inbound traffic, but I couldn't find anything relating to TCP or UDP settings. The message I get on Perseus suggests that the connection is being attempted, but the minutes and seconds do not start counting down. Next I temporarily disabled my fire...

Setting up the Perseus SDR for remote SDR / Network access.

Can anybody point me in the right direction regarding setting up my Perseus SDR for listening to remote receivers? Maybe there's an instructional video. I had problems last time as I couldn't remember how to bring up the splash screen for opening up the Perseus for public networks. I think that's on...

Re: Warsaw bandscan

That's a shame Tim. Noise gets everywhere.

I can believe it regarding Romanian transmitters. Romania and the UK seem to have more transmitters on MW than anybody else in Europe. At least, that's the way it seems when tuning the band during the evenings.

Hope you had an enjoyable trip.

Hi Peter.

Harbour Light continued past sunrise here, fading out after 0600. This is unusual as I always see them signing off around 0355.
