Re: DAB TII codes now in DABLIST

I remember I used to have an Arcam Alpha 10 DAB tuner that could do this. IIRC by pressing two buttons at the same time it would go into 'engineering mode', which included displaying the TII codes. I could pick up the London ensembles with it (this was back when I was living near the Berkshire borde...

Re: Evening session at axe edge, Derbyshire 21/4/18

Interesting. I have no idea what 87.6 is as I've not heard it here.

93.8 should still be Vibe, as I have heard it during the tropo.

I look forward to reading it Tim.

I unplugged the aerial here last night due to very electrically active storms.

Actually I think I jinxed the tropo by having this week off work. No doubt it would have been a spectacular one otherwise!

Re: Tuesday 17th April looks good on Hepburn

Here, Wrotham/London/Essex enhanced somewhat as well as Caen, Cherbourg and Les Platons, but that's about it. No sign of the extensive German and French tropo that was being forecast until recently. Pathetic.

Hi John. Your UNID on 102.3 with PI 1204 is SNRT SNRT al-Idaat Mohammed Assadiss with PS SNRT-Cor (SNRT Coran). It's listed as NE Morocco. I had it here on September 3rd last year:

Re: No Noise Is Good Noise! (Medium Wave)

In my case it was:

OFCOM official: "So you have all this noise?"

Me: "Yes"

OFCOM official: "I can't hear it."

Good luck John. I hope you can get the noise eliminated or if not reduced to a manageable level.

Well, I would say that the chances of receiving Iran on FM in the Netherlands high up the band via Sporadic E in mid March are so remote as to be for all intents and purposes, zero!

A couple of inches of snow here after continuous mainly light snow yesterday and heavier snow overnight. It's not as much as the snow we had at the beginning of the month - we had about 5 inches then.

Fascinating. The reception is stable and it sounds like weak tropo.

In theory would your location be good for TEP?
