Re: Powerful burst, UNID past 6th of June, 90.00 mhz

thanks a lot Theme. Some colleagues in the forum think that it could be Costa Calida International Radio, from Mazagon, Murcia. I think it's very likely.

Re: 6m TA alert-mainly for Paul Logan!

I somehow managed not to notice this yesterday, and yet I was around, monitoring. Things are slow on this end, been on the edge of the action the last couple of days. Interesting watching double hop via FT8 down into Greece, Turkey, Israel. One ham to the east of me working some mad stuff including...

POR, F, I, E, MRC, MDR, CNR so far here. I don't ever remember hearing MDR or CNR this early. The last few days 6m has been open to Iberia just not getting to FM.
I create this post because maybe, for some people, this could be a very good season

Re: ES 03/05/2019. Is the beginning of the Sporadic-e?

I don't know if it´s the right place but I take the opportunity to ask a question: does the solar cycle influences really the formation of sporadics-e in our FM band?. I've read a lot of theory about propagation and I've never known. I also take the opportunity to comment that I have only enjoyed a ...

Re: Elad FDM-S2, last version SDR Sharp operative?

Thanks so much everybody!!! RDSspy is working with FDM-SW2 now. But I remain committed to using my SDRSharp version 1361 with my Elad. Where can I get the ExtIO file that i need?. Do I need to modify files like "FDM-S2 (1).extio_elad_fdms2_768K_V3", or "....1536K_V...", etc?. Would someone please ex...

Elad FDM-S2, last version SDR Sharp operative?

Hi all I recently bought an Elad FDM-S2, and like I'm a sdr sharp software enthusiast this is my question ;) . My RSP2Pro (located in the remote listening station) is working with the SDR# version 1361, and to this day it's perfect. I would like to run my Elad with RDS Spy and with other plugins, it...

Hi Paul Affirmative, i´m listening from El Hierro Island, but remotely. All the previous years I have always listened from Tenerife, more specifically from the Anaga zone. It's a very good area for the dx. However I could only listen England, never Ireland. I have not yet had time to test El Hierro ...

I've received the Canary islands in the UK twice via tropo, once from Aberdaron , North West Wales and once from a mountain in the middle of England Tim :o Via tropo Canary Islands?, 3000 kms via tropo?. Apparently the limit of the tropo is around 1700-1800 kms... Be that as it may congratulations ...

Re: sporadic-e opening British Islands-Canary Islands?

Hi all. I recently built a remote listening station (blog: FeAntenna) in a privileged place (I think ...). It is in a small western island of my zone, quite depopulated, and with absence of industrial noise. However, I have not heard any stations from the British Isles yet. I do not have an explanat...

The logical thing would be to think the overall performance will be penalized because of the extremely broad bandwidth, do you think so?.
