Re: Far-East increasing on MW!

To make it short : 4QD should be somewhere between .007 and .011, right ?

It doesn't drift as far down as 1548.011. I presume you mean up to 1548.0011.

Re: UNid 936 2200z

Thank you all

The Pink Floyd track is from RNE Peter.
Thus, the other station is IRIB R. Markaze Azerbaijaneh Gharb.
No idea about the first extract (male voice) though.

Re: UNid 936 2200z

Thanks for your help, mates !
John : this one is from June, 17th. I re-checked this TOTH recording, and at 2156, I found this female voice : https://vocaroo.com/i/s0V3szKA5zE7
Maybe from the same station ?

Hi Peter,

My request refers to the man one can hear just before and during the beeps, not the spanish announcement you mention that comes later.

Hi !

I don't understand what the male voice says at the TOH ... Which station can it be ?
Recorded June 17th, at 2200 on 936 kHz.

Re: Asiatic UNid 891

What a nice reception you had John ! My location is quite noisy and having the loop pointed in a single fixed direction does not help (to cancel local RFI at best).

Brookman Spark : maybe I hear something like 'Ningxia' at 21", just after the fading but I not familiar at all with chinese.

Asiatic UNid 891

Hello !

This one was heard last year, October 29th, 1658z, on 891 kHz (nothing left at TOH, as usual ...)
I first thought of Ningxia RGD but not sure.

Thanks.

Wow, I can't believe I caught this one from my alpine location ... .
Thank you both for the help. Peter, I *think* I'm also hearing 'your independant station' at 14" and then what Brookman Spark mentionned.

UNID 891 kHz 28SEP2018 2157z

Hi there, Last night, I came accross a very weak station I haven't managed to ID yet. Received on 891.001 (accurate value within 1 Hz) at 2157z. Signal almost disappeared at TOH, but it seems no ID was given (still playing music). Nothing heard later on. Language is unknown to me, as well as the R'n...

Re: SDRPlay - follow up.

Hi there ! I recently purchased a RSPduo. On my crowded FM band (240+ stations, including a couple of 100W TX within 3 km), it suffers from several images / harmonics if the gain is not properly adjusted. It means I almost have to continuously adjust it, and believe me it quickly becomes irritating ...

Thanks John.
When installing this new version, are the parameters kept or does one have to almost start from scratch ?

Re: Downloading FMList Lists

When trying to download FMlist datas, CSV User List now shows : "no session ID available, try again later".
Same applies to AMlist.

No problem when downloading other databases (Eibi, AOKI, etc)

Does anyone notice the same ?

Re: Perseids Peak 13th/14th August 2018

As usual, almost nothing here, except a few short pings, far too weak to get a PI decoding or even to understand the spoken language. Needless to say it's quite frustrating ... From a visual point of view, only 5 meteors seen within about 30 minutes (announced ZHR was 60). Was H or V polar' better f...

Re: New good DAB+ portable for DAB & FM DX?

Hi there ! My tiny Sony XDR-P1DBP is still OK, but I intend to soon purchase a new portable radio. Are there some fine new items on the market or are the DPR 65 / 69+ and the Roberts Play still the ones to go for ? Which one offers the best audio quality ? (the Sony is great despite its size). Thank...

Latest Qt-dab release perfectly works with the RSPduo (and is supposed to be OK with all RSPs)
